Children and young people are among the most vulnerable to extreme events and the aftermath that occur as a result of climate change. Events ranging from droughts to floods, heatwaves and wildfires among others put children and young people everywhere in the most dire situations.
At Child Space Uganda, we work in a children’s space everyday and witness first hand, some of the gravest acts of children’s rights violations. We therefore do not turn a deaf ear to this evil. We choose to do our part by creating awareness on the issue among children and the population at large.
